I thought adding new memory would me my computer faster, but now it’s much slower than before!

Though it’s very, very rare, sometimes adding RAM will slow down one’s computer. This usually happens because your computer does not have enough cache to accommodate the additional RAM. If this is the case, the only thing you can do is upgrade your motherboard and processor, otherwise you will not be able to use the full amount of ram.
