FAQ - Can I mix Rambus speeds on my system?
Yes. Certain slower speeds of RAMBUS are not being produced any more, so a BIOS update may be needed to recognize the faster memory. This is especially true for most ASUS motherboards and Dell Optiplex and WorkStation models. If your system has the memory installed in pairs, you will not be able to mix speeds within the pairs.
